Recycle your Christmas tree

You can dispose of your real Christmas tree by taking it to the recycling centre at Padworth. A map of how to find the recycling centre can be found here.

Alternatively you can put your real tree out for collection on your recycling week to be taken for composting. The tree does not have to be contained in a green bin but should be cut at least in half if they are particularly big.

Please note all trees must be stripped of all decorations and lights and taken out of their pot or base before recycling.
