Cllr Parry Batth has been working on two areas of concern for residents, with Thames Water.

Devitt Close - land behind the close is owned by Thames Water.  Large trees growing on the land overhung some houses – a real safety risk.. Parry has liaised with Thames Water and eventually after a lot of bureaucratic wranglings, Thames Water have trimmed back the trees, much to the relief of Devitt Close residents.

Old Whitley Wood Lane - Local residents raised concerns about a six inch sewerage pipe behind their back gardens being unable to cope with through flow after heavy downpours, leading to overflowing sewerage.  Following Parry’s intervention Thames Water have agreed to descale the pipe and install depth monitors to measure through flow.  Further action will be taken if needed.
