Cllr Parry Batth has welcomed the opening of the Shinfield Rise community flat.
The flat opened its doors in November 2012. Since then it has been running a programme, which includes housing surgeries, local have your say meetings, and drop in surgeries with local Borough and Parish Councillors.
The flat also runs several events and activities, such as a two week free craft course, open evening and celebrated the holiday season with the community on December 21st.
Parry welcomed the great work done so far, but added: "The team behind this welcome any new ideas and suggestions from the community, as to what they want to see happening. We want to deliver the right services and activities to suit the local needs of residents in Shinfield Rise.
