Paul Swaddle, Conservative Councillor for Maiden Erlegh ward, has recently been appointed as an External Trustee for Reading University Students Union. Paul commented “It is fantastic to be able to serve the Student body at Reading University again. I was a sabbatical officer at RUSU in the early 90’s and am currently a Cllr for the ward covering most of the University.”
He went on to say “I hope that I will be able to assist RUSU with both my political skills and my industry knowledge – Reading is a great institution to study at, and the Students union offers strong representation as well as facilities for all students to make the most of their valuable time at University. I am very proud to have been asked to serve.”
