Conservatives want Wokingham borough to be a safe place to live, work and visit. We have agreed new priorities to the council's Community Safety Strategy, including:
• Listening to the needs and concerns of local residents and taking action 
• Intervening early and preventing issues escalating 
• Working together to protect vulnerable residents 
We will deliver these priorities by:
• Working with communities to deal with crime and anti-social behaviour hotspots 
• Reduce the harm caused by domestic abuse 
• Reduce incidents of serious violence and knife crime
• Tackle exploitation of children, young people and vulnerable adults 
• Reduce crimes of residential burglary and theft from vehicles
